YOSEMITE

Highlights: When RIPPLES began in 2015, Ratnadeep was our first customer. In 2018, he asked us to rescape his tank to resemble Yosemite National Park, USA. For the hardscape, we chose ADA Kei stone, whose light yellowish-pink color mirrors Yosemite’s rocks. La Plata sand recreated the river, and we used Montecarlo to mimic flowing meadows. Given the tank’s shallow depth, we planted Eleocharis acicularis and Staurogyne repens in the front to enhance the sense of depth. Other plants included Micranthemum umbrosum ‘Montecarlo’ and Hemianthus micranthemoides.
