Highlights: Our client, Mr. Sekhar Dutta, one of the country’s foremost rose experts and an engineer by profession, chose horticulture as his passion and business early in his career. As an avid fish keeper, he had a “bare bottom” discus aquarium. When he heard about planted aquariums, he tasked us with converting his old tank into a planted one and challenged us to use as many aquatic plants as possible. We included varieties such as Anubias nana “gold,” Cryptocoryne wendtii “Tropica,” and Cryptocoryne “Green Gecko” for the first time. This project was special as it encouraged a veteran like Mr. Dutta to embrace planted aquariums. His collection has since grown from 1 to 9 tanks!
