Highlights: Vikram, a keen aquarist, converted his marine aquarium into a planted one using ADA substrates and fertilizers, but his chosen LED lamp didn’t meet his expectations. When he approached us, we recommended switching to ADA 36W PLL lamps due to depth and height constraints. These lamps, despite initial scepticism, successfully reached the 2.5 ft depth. Their excellent colour rendering brought out vivid colours in all plants, from the bright green of weeping moss to the red hues of Rotala HRA and Ludwigia. The “flow” of weeping moss on the driftwood is simply fantastic.
