Description
Hardy fast growing species
Striking plant with medium green coloured leaves
Family: Araceae
Scientific name: Cryptoc?ryne nevillii
Also known as: Cryptocoryne x willisi, which for many years was incorrectly cultivated under the name of Cryptoc?ryne nevillii. The genuine C. nevillii is not suitable for aquarium use (C kasselmann)
Type: Ideally suited for mid ground
Origins: Central Sri Lanka
Ecology: Grows in banks of streams and rivers both in an emersed as well as submersed condition. Many times it?s found growing with Cryptocoryne parva. But unlike C. Parva, this species of Cruptocoryne is considerable fast growing (C kasselmann).
Growth: Fast
Height: approx. 5 – 15 cm

Like other Cryptocoryne species, this too is an undemanding aquarium plant which can grow under a variety of conditions but definitely does best in a nutrient rich substrate.
