The Bio-Rio G from ADA is a filter medium made of sintered glass. The porous structure provides a very large surface area, which is ideal for the settlement of beneficial bacteria. This leads to additional biological filtration, which forms an ideal interaction with the mechanical filtration of the sintered glass. Other advantages of sintered glass as a filter medium are its stability and that it is not prone to break or generate dust.
Since Bio-Rio G is water neutral, it is excellent for long-term use. For optimal filter performance, it is recommended to use Bio-Rio G in combination with the high-quality Bamboo Charcoal and NA Carbon.
In addition, the filter medium can be used as substrate in DOOA Paluda 30/60 to increase humidity.

Lightly rinse Bio-Rio G before use. When used in inside filter, it is recommended to use a mesh bag
